Job Title: System Engineer
Job Description/Responsibilities: The System Engineer
will design, develop, test, and evaluate
computer software programs, systems, and
hardware and related equipment. He/she
applies progressive working experience
in the networking technical discipline.
Works network systems projects involving
integration of user network applications
on distribution systems conforming with
or supporting IEEE 802 standards.
Applies specific disciplines required to
accomplish the tasks including: DoD
standard protocols, LANs, WANs,
reliability and maintainability, safety,
test and evaluation, quality assurance,
network applications & topology, data
communications, design and integration
engineering. Applications include
Network Management Systems, Firewalls,
Domain Name Servers, Trouble Ticketing
Systems (Remedy), call centers, help
desk, or other network management
tools. Is knowledgeable and has
hands-on experience with configuration,
and installation techniques involving
network servers (with Active Directory
expertise), firewalls, switches,
routers, hubs and other ancillary
devices. Evaluates and implements
security tools and methods regarding
network security issues of intrusion
management, information assurance and
firewalls. Must be knowledgeable of
Government regulations, manuals,
technical orders, standards, and
industry publications. The System
Engineer reports to the INDS Program
Manager.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required in Computer
Science and/or Information Technology
discipline. Professional technical
education, certifications and
combinations of educational credentials
with experience will be evaluated for
consideration.
Experience:
Five (5) years of
progressive experience working in
network wide administration,
installation, and sustainment
environments. Experience with Remedy,
call centers, and help desk would be a
plus.
Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen. Applicants
selected will be subject to a Government
security investigation and must meet
eligibility requirements for access to
classified information. An in-scope
SSBI (within five years) and a US
government TS/SCI clearance within the
last 24 months are required.

1. Title: Information Assurance
Manager, Senior (IA Manager, Sr.)
Job Description/Responsibilities:
Certification and Accreditation(C&A)
under the Air Force implementation of
DoD Information Assurance Certification
and Accreditation Process (DIACAP).
The IA Manager will successfully
complete system C&A, Information Support
Plan (ISP) support and services
including conducting initial
certification tasks and periodic review
of security configurations. The IA
Manager will review policy and procedure
changes that have occurred since the
system was last certified and
accredited. The IA Manager will
initiate the DIACAP Implementation Plan,
assign Information Assurance (IA)
controls, and complete required security
artifacts for upload into the Enterprise
Information Technology Data Repository (EITDR)
system. The IA Manager will execute and
update a Security Implementation Plan
(SIP), conduct validation activities,
and compile validation results in EITDR
to retrieve a DIACAP scorecard. During
the period of performance the IA Manager
will develop Plans of Action and
Milestones (POA&M) IAW DODI 8510.01.
Support will also include Security,
Interoperability, Sustainability,
Supportability and Usability (SISSU)
sub-process for small, medium and large
systems/enclaves. DIACAP C&A of
Automated Information Systems process
will lead to an Approval to Operate (ATO)
document granting Authority to Connect (ATC)
to the Air Force network. Certification
and Accreditation tasks and deliverables
will be in accordance with the first
three phases of the DIACAP and the three
phases of the Air Force (AF) Information
Technology (IT) Lean Process Version
5.0. Support includes documenting
entries/responses for the Enterprise
Information Technology Data Repository (EITDR).
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
or technical discipline within the
Information Technology arena required.
Master’s degree preferred but not
required.
Experience:
Ten to fifteen (10-15) years of
progressive experience within the IA
environment. Experience working with
complex information system/technology
enclaves, and providing appropriate
documentation for Certification and
Accreditation of Automated Information
Systems.
Requirements:
International Information Systems
Security Certification Consortium Inc
(ISC)2, CISSP, and/or CISM Technical
Level II (IAT Level II) certifications
or equivalent certification/experience.
Available to travel to DoD CONUS sites
as necessary. Must have excellent
customer interaction and communication
skills (verbal/written).
Security Clearance: Active DoD Secret security
clearance required.

2. Title: Information Assurance
Specialist
Job Description/Responsibilities: Customer in San
Antonio requires support to complete
short notice task orders for
certification and accreditation(C&A)
under the Air Force implementation of
DoD Information Assurance Certification
and Accreditation Process (DIACAP).
The IA Specialist will successfully
complete system C&A, Information Support
Plan (ISP) support and services
including conducting initial
certification tasks and periodic review
of security configurations. The IA
